The Last Frontier Woodcarvers Club was
organized in April 1995. The purpose of the club is to promote wood
carving, foster fellowship among member enthusiasts, education,
safety and fun.

The Ames Woodworkers Club began in the early
eighties and currently has 140 members from the Ames and
surrounding areas. The club meets at various places in Ames and in
other locations in Central Iowa to share information and tips about
various woodworking related topics.
The club holds a two-day
woodworking exhibition presented in the North Grand Mall in Ames.
Scroll saw and turning demonstrations as well as an exhibition of
member projects are the highlight of the event.
Membership in the Ames Woodworking Club is open to anyone
interested in woodworking, arts and crafts involving wood, and
related activities. In additionto attending meetings and receiving
the monthly newsletter, dues paying members are also entitled to
discounts at various area businesses.
The Barnesville Woodturners is a
chapter of the American Association of Woodturners. Each of the
members has an interest in woodturning. For some it may be just a
hobby, or a way to unwind on the weekends, others may do it after
they retire. And for others it may be a way they make a living.
what ever the reason, each has at least something in common .. THE
WOOD LATHE.
We
are a group of professional woodworkers who live and work in the
vicinity of BerkshireCounty in western Massachusetts. We formed the
Berkshire Woodworkers Guild as a not-for-profit organization in
order to share expertise, tools, and business opportunities. We
also want to promote awareness of the benefits and availability of
custom woodworking.
The BUCKS WOODTURNERS
is dedicated to providing education, information and organization
to those interested in woodturning. Dues are $25 per year which
includes a subscription to our newsletter. The Bucks Woodturners
meet the 3rd Monday of each month, except Janurary which is the 4th
Monday. There are no meetings in July and August.
